Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our services and placing an order with YMZ Lasers ("we," "us," or "our"). By using our services, placing an order, and particularly by approving the design and paying the 50% deposit, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, which are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore.

1. Acceptance of Terms:

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of our laser engraving and etching services. By accessing our website, placing an order, and proceeding with the design approval and deposit payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as interpreted under the laws of Singapore.

2. Orders and Design Approval:

All orders are subject to acceptance by YMZ Lasers.
Before an order is processed, a design for your project will be discussed and confirmed with you.
A non-refundable 50% deposit of the total order value is required before any design work or order processing begins.
By approving the design and paying the 50% deposit, you signify your agreement to the final design and these Terms and Conditions of the sale, including the Shipping Policy and Refund Policy outlined below, all of which are subject to the laws of Singapore.

3. Shipping Policy (Singapore Only):

This shipping policy applies to all orders placed for delivery within Singapore only.

Free Shipping: We offer free standard delivery within Singapore for all orders with a total value of S$100 and above.
Shipping Fee for Orders Below S$100: For orders with a total value below S$100, a flat shipping fee of S$20 will be applied.
Self-Collection Option: For all orders, regardless of value, a self-collection option is available at our designated location in the northeast of Singapore. The specific address for self-collection will be provided during the checkout process.
Delivery Timeframe: Delivery times within Singapore typically range between two to three business days after order processing. Please note that this is an estimate and actual delivery times may vary due to factors such as order volume, public holidays, and unforeseen circumstances.
Overseas Deliveries: For deliveries outside of Singapore, shipping costs will be calculated and charged at the prevailing rates determined by FedEx. Please contact us prior to placing your order for an estimated shipping cost to your specific location. The terms for overseas deliveries will be governed by the applicable laws and regulations related to international shipping.

4. Refund Policy:

At YMZ Lasers, we strive for accuracy and quality in all our laser engraving and etching services. This Refund Policy is governed by the consumer protection laws of Singapore.

Deposit Requirement: A non-refundable 50% deposit of the total order value is required before any design work or order processing begins. This is in consideration of the design and preparation work undertaken.
No Refunds After Design Confirmation and Deposit: Once the 50% deposit has been paid and the design has been confirmed by you, no further refunds will be provided for the order, except as explicitly stated below and in accordance with applicable Singaporean consumer law.
Refunds for Damaged Goods During Shipping: If your order arrives and the product(s) have been damaged during shipping, a refund will be provided proportionate to the quantity of the damaged items relative to the total order. For any refund claim related to shipping damage, clear photographic evidence of the damage to the packaging and the product(s) in part and in whole of the entire order must be provided via WhatsApp to our number (which can be found in the Contact Us page or manually entered into your phone at +658-338-8449) within twenty-four (24) hours of receiving your order. This is a condition for processing any refund claim under this clause.
Refunds for Incorrectly Executed Designs: If the final product deviates significantly from the confirmed design specifications, a partial or full refund may be provided, proportionate to the total quantity and depending on the usability of the affected items, in accordance with fair and reasonable practices under Singaporean consumer law. For any refund claim related to incorrectly executed designs, clear photographic evidence of the discrepancy in part and in whole of the entire order must be provided via WhatsApp to our number (which can be found in the Contact Us page or manually entered into your phone at +658-338-8449) within twenty-four (24) hours of receiving your order. This is a condition for processing any refund claim under this clause.
No Refunds for Minor Visual Discrepancies or Non-Defective Items: To the fullest extent permitted under Singaporean consumer law, no refunds will be provided if the job has been completed to the exact specifications and size as reasonably achievable through visual inspection and standard measuring tools, or if the engraving or the product itself has no defects.
Process for Refund Claims: To initiate a refund claim, contact us via WhatsApp only at our number (which can be found in the Contact Us page or manually entered into your phone at +658-338-8449) within twenty-four (24) hours of receiving your order, providing clear photographic evidence in part and in whole of the entire order demonstrating the issue. We will review your claim in accordance with Singaporean consumer law and will respond within five to seven (5-7) working days via WhatsApp with our assessment and the proposed resolution. YMZ Lasers reserves the right to assess each refund claim on a case-by-case basis, consistent with applicable laws in Singapore.

5. Intellectual Property:

You warrant that you have the necessary rights and permissions to use any logos, designs, text, images, or other materials you provide to us for laser engraving or etching and that such use does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others under Singaporean law.
You agree to indemnify and hold YMZ Lasers harmless from any claims or legal actions arising from the use of materials that infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others in accordance with the laws of Singapore.
YMZ Lasers retains the intellectual property rights to any designs created by us, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing and in compliance with Singapore's intellectual property laws.

6. Payment:

The total cost of your order, including shipping fees (if applicable), will be communicated to you before the 50% deposit is collected. All transactions will be in Singapore Dollars (SGD) unless otherwise specified.
The remaining 50% balance is due upon completion of the order and prior to shipment or self-collection.

7. Limitation of Liability:

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law in Singapore, YMZ Lasers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to our services or these Terms and Conditions, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to our services or these Terms and Conditions shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific order in question, as permitted under Singaporean law.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction:

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

9. Amendments:

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice, in accordance with applicable Singaporean law. Any changes will be posted on our website, and it is your responsibility to review these Terms and Conditions periodically. Your continued use of our services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions under Singaporean law.

10. Personal Data Protection:

Our collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data are governed by our Privacy Policy, which is compliant with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) of Singapore. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more information.
